The Mach 1 was designed for field equipment repair. It mounts to the equipment, allows you to trace designs directly from the part you need, and cuts it out with either oxy-fuel or plasma.
Point 2 Point trace
Enter teach points to create designs.
Using Point 2 Point paths, you can move the end of the Mach 1’s arms to exact points on the part you’d like to create to save a design. Then move the Mach 1 to a fresh plate to cut out as many copies as you need.
Field cutting
Fabrication on the fly.
Oftentimes heavy equipment is repaired in the field with limited access to power. If you have a small battery and oxy-fuel bottles to hook up the Mach 1, you can get your work done onsite and save trips to the shop. If you have a generator or compressor you can cut with plasma in the field too.
Equipment repair
Rebuilds without the teardown.
Wear plate, liners, cutting edges, and cracked frames get repaired where the equipment sits. The Mach 1 can cut while inverted so you can program a path to remove a damaged area and have it cut with precision right on the equipment itself.
Contour bevels
Weld prep for equipment repair.
With the Mach 1 Sabre, you can program contoured bevels for couplers, cylinder eyes, and similar features directly into the part being prepped for welding. With both oxy-fuel and plasma, the Sabre brings best-in-class beveling capability for equipment repair teams.

Common questions.
How thick can it cut?
Cut capacity depends on process: plasma capacity follows your plasma unit; oxy-fuel handles heavy sections up to 10" (254 mm) thick. See the spec sheets for the plasma and oxy-fuel attachments.
Which fuel gases does it support?
Acetylene, propane, and natural gas, with tip charts for each. If your shop already runs one of these, the Mach 1 drops into your existing gas supply.
Can it duplicate a part from the machine we’re repairing?
Cut programs are repeatable. Once the replacement profile is on the tablet, you can cut it again every time that wear part comes back through the shop.
